Fixing Super Street Fighter 4 PC Crash Fixes and Errors

Problem #1 Super Street Fighter 4 PC Crash Fix – Crash Upon Entering Character Select Screen

• Turn all graphics to LOW, but keep the stage quality to HIGH, VSync set to ON.
• Set texture filtering set to Default.
• Ensure that you have VC++, GFWL and DirectX installed and updated.

Install the latest version of DirectX.

• Go to “Online Mode” and select “ANY” under “Region options” and you will be able to find people online.

Adjust your audio properties, go to advanced speaker settings, performance, set hardware acceleration to either low or off.

Problem #12 Super Street Fighter 4 – Keyboard Controls Fix (Arcade Ediiton)

If you are experiencing difficulties in customizing the controls on your keyboard. There are two ways you can fix this issue, one is that you connect an Xbox 360 controller to your PC and your keyboard will start responding to your inputs.

Second is that, you put This File in the main directory ‘steam/steamapps/common‘ and it will allow you to use your keyboard. The key setups are in ‘x360kb.ini’ and the layout is this:

• A=light kick
• B=medium kick
• X=light punch
• Y=medium punch
• Left Shoulder=all three punchs
• Left Trigger=all three kick
• Right Shoulder=high punch
• Right Trigger=high kick
• D-Pad Up=jump
• D-Pad Down=down
• D-Pad Left=left
• D-Pad Right=right
• Start=start
• Back=back

Also, in an attempt to support two keyboards for this game, developers somehow bugged the code and now if any non-standard device (Controller, wireless keyboard) is connected to your PC, keyboard fail to respond. Devs are working on to fix this, you should expect a patch soon.

Problem #13 Super Street Fighter 4 PC Crash Fix – Performance Fix for Arcade Edition

1. Turn off Vsync
2. Turn on Fixed Framerate.
3. Disable Smooth Mode.
