Problem #1 Darksiders 2 Crash Fix – Crash to Desktop upon Launch / Startup
If Darksiders 2 randomly crashes upon launching the game, ensure or try the following:

After the intro video finishes and the screen with death riding in the freezy wastes appears. I have vision of nothing, everything seems to be invisible or see-through, I can barely see the green flames of Death’s horse and some lines of death. The world is only a big mirror-like blue and white background.
I just fixed that one by reinstalling to another hard disk (unlikely that THIS fixed it), and tweaking Catalyst settings to force everything to USE application profiles, hope it helps.

i have done all the above for trying to fix my lag problem in game, some things have helped however it is still pretty bad, game is not playable, is this due to the need of a patch? or is something wrong? my pc specs are more than optimal to support this game, any help or feedback would be appreciated

almost everytime i play the game it freezes after 10-15 min, i have followed your indications but still nothing.
I solved my black screen problem whit deleting “options.dopt” in C:Users(UserName)AppDataLocalDarksiders 2 and changing the desktop resolution to 1280-720.
Damn run as admin and make video card is updated with latest drives
On Xbox, at a certain place in the Black Stone, when restarting, the game freezes right after the “this has been the journey so far” intro.

My main problems with the game comes after chapter 10 and close to the ending, where the audio starts to cut out and comes back or goes low and loud again. I have the latest creative drivers for my soundcard. The other problem is the game becomes unstable after the middle of the game. other then this game ripping off portal, Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, Prince Of Persia it is pretty good.
Everything works perfect…but on right side there is like 2 cm black…rest is good
I installed darksiders 2 yesterday.I played for about one hour, then i thought that if i disable the full screen and bring the resolution in minimun, the game would be faster.Then i restarted the game, after this i small white screen apperead at the top of my desktop and when i clicked on it, it went not responding.I uninstalled and intalled it many times, but it’s the same thing, it goes not responding. So please help me resolving this problem, because i really wanna play this game.
hello all … i have the same problem .. when i was on my playthrough of the boss Karkinos i got the pc glitch .. the fix for this was to change your graphics to the lowest settings for the game … now when i tried to start the game after this is, it opens a tab and then it says program not responding .. i have re installed the game and i have deleted all the program files in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Darksiders2 .. this still did not fix the problem and now i don’t have those folders, i have found out that is recreates those folders when it gets to the menu … anyway to fix this and can someone send me the files that were in that folder set to maybe 800×600 to see if that works

If anyone could help i would really appreciate it.I can play the game with one annoying problem.Whenever i try to sell or buy something after i finish trading my game crashes and i have to restart the game.
I have problem with this game.
Downloaded SKIDROW version, and when i instal it and crack it nothing happene’s. I try to start game both from desktop and from folder, and still nothing happen’s. Downloaded 2 update’s tryed to instal them and everything was finished with success, but still when i start game nothing happen’s.
Went to task menager, no proces running there, meaning on Darksiders 2.
My Laptop configuration is: Win 7 64bit, 2Gb ram, dualcore 2.0 GHz, 521Mb video memory. Have latest video/audio driver’s. Also i have tried instaling new DX version still the same thing.
If anybody know’s what might be the problem, let me know please

i tried asking everybody on torrent about the critical resolution problem.i deleted the options.dopt file, tried reinstalling the game still no luck i really am getting pissed off!!!!!plz someone help

but screen still become black
che pelotudo porque no haces una guia como la gente ? eso que pusiste se le ocurre asta a mi hermanita mogolico de mierda pone algo mas util como configurar un crossfire o SLI. lo que tienen que hacer es muy simple entran al panel de control de la VGA que tengan y si usan SLI o CrossfireX lo desactivan para esa aplciacion y listo, si tienen 1 sola vga solo actualizen el driver y si tienen una low-end tirenla a la mierda. saludos
