PCs and gaming are two of my favorite passions, and one of the most rewarding things I found was helping other users and gamers get over the hassles of trying to find fixes for their apps and games where most are just auto-generated, irrelevant sites. It’s simple: I’m here as a gamer to help fellow PC and gaming enthusiasts fix the latest software and hardware problems.
Systems
I’m using three systems all on Windows 7, two of which are using nVidia cards (GTX280 and GTX480), while the other is on ATI 5870 — so there’s really no bias here in terms of system. My units are all on 4GB RAM and at least 1TB of HDD. Double 2.1 speakers and one cool 7.1 setup for my GTX480 rig (it doubles as home theater PC). I bought a Razer Banshee, but I’m not really fond of it. My mice are all Razer, 2xLachesis and 1xDiamondback 3G.
Other Stuff
I’m a big fan of racing games, so I keep a Logitech G7 around. I want a PlaySeat in the near future, so wish me well on that! I’m not so much into console games, I have a PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, PSP, and NDS sitting around, and my siblings and up playing with them. Maybe I can encourage them to post game fixes for those too.
Testing for Fixes
When testing games I have my two brothers helping me out, since installing is a headache. We run various tests (confidential) to squeeze out the problems, and also take on some tips from forums and blogs out there. No infringement is intended on this site, and we only mean to help fellow gamers.
